Katie's and Daddy's Birthday was full of Traditions. . .including butterfly b-day cake and shaped pancakes as you can tell from the photos Daddy enjoys his b-day these days by focusing on Katie. Which doesn't mean he doesn't get spoiled with gifts. Including the big black truck, he received a new grill and a new camelback for biking (which he broke in on his bike ride this past Saturday for the "Susan Komen ride for a cure") Katie received a slide for her swing set and the pretty purple swimming pool. . .who needs water when its just as fun without? Katie didn't think it was necessary.
Our Adventure home from Grandpa and Grandma's. . .
Our trip from Utah and Tennessee was a bit of an adventure. . .We got stuck in Rock Springs WY for 26 hours they closed the road behind us and in front of us. The next morning we found out why as you can see from the trucks in our pictures no one should have been on the roads. The picture of oncoming traffic is trucks for as far as the eye can see, Grandpa and I counted 60 trucks in a mile. When we got to St. Louis the weather turned from snow to rain six inches in an hour. . .we were to busy trying to survive to take pictures there. . .but in the end Grandpa got us home safe to Daddy as he always does! Thanks Grandpa!!
Over the plains to Grandma and Grandpa's House. . .
This was an eventful trip for Katie, she played with cousins from Utah to California, went to the emergency room, and got into all sorts of trouble at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. . .
